Amy Suheidy Arreaga is a sculptural and multimedia artist from Kumeyaay land, also known as west Chula Vista, California. Their 3-D work often explores the emotionality of personal and secondhand materials. Their 2-D work situates personal experiences of love and recovery within local and global contexts. Recently, they have started a blog, puros musings, to share knowledge about art fabrication. Alongside a formal creative practice, Amy enjoys queering and feminizing Ohlone territory’s expansive graffiti scene.

Amy received a BA in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley. They are currently completing an artist residency at PLACE Community on Ohlone land, also known as Oakland, CA.
